"BET aired the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Gospel last night, January 10, 2010. The Celebration of Gospel continues the tradition of uplifting messages and inspirational performances of song and spoken word at the Los Angeles Orpheum Theatre. Steve Harvey hosted the event, which took place on December 12, 2009.

The spiritual gala is led by Ray Chew and a 24 piece orchestra. Artists include American Idol winner Fantasia and her mother Diane Barrino Barber, Anthony Hamilton and his wife Tarsha Hamilton, Grammy Award winning family act BeBe and CeCe Winans, Sherri Shepher of the View, Fred Hammond, Donniei McClurkin, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Marvin Sapp, James Fortune & FIYA, Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing, Dr. Bobby Jones and the Nashville Super choir, the Rance Allen Group and P.S.A.L.
